Dividend increases at T-Mobile, GE HealthCare and Danaos highlight different approaches to returning cash to shareholders. The payment amount, timing and funding matter more than the percentage increase alone.
T-Mobile: $1.17 per share
On September 24, 2026, T-Mobile declared a $1.17 quarterly dividend, up $0.15, or approximately 15%, from the previous quarter. Payment is due December 10 to shareholders of record at the close of November 25, 2026.
GE HealthCare: four cents per share
GE HealthCare declared a $0.04 dividend on September 22, approximately 14% above the prior quarter. Payment is scheduled for November 13, with an October 23, 2026 record date.
Danaos: regular and special payments
On October 1, Danaos declared a $1 regular dividend and a $5 special dividend, making a combined $6 payment on October 22. The record date was October 13, 2026 and has already passed.
How to interpret the increases
Dividend growth is different from dividend yield, which also depends on the share price. A special payment should not automatically be treated as recurring annual income.
Sustainability requires comparing distributions with free cash flow, debt and investment needs. Record dates are also distinct from ex-dividend dates; investors should verify the latter with the exchange or broker.
