Banque Saudi Fransi (BSF), Saudi Exchange ticker 1050, reported nine-month 2026 net income of SAR 4.377 billion, up approximately 7% year on year. Third-quarter profit reached SAR 1.509 billion, an increase of about 12%.
Business growth meets margin pressure
Loans reached SAR 230.4 billion at the end of September, up 7% year on year, while customer deposits increased 9% to SAR 203.2 billion. Nine-month net interest margin declined five basis points to 3.01%, and cost of risk remained stable at 0.43%.
What investors should monitor
Deposits growing faster than loans can strengthen the funding base for expansion, but the earnings benefit depends on deposit costs and mix. Profit growth alongside a lower margin makes business volumes, expense efficiency and credit quality important indicators for future results.
Reported earnings growth alone cannot determine the share-price direction. Previous expectations, valuation and liquidity also matter. Management commentary on funding margins and provisions remains useful for assessing the next reporting period.
