NADEC (6010) announced on 25 October 2026 that it had signed a memorandum of understanding with Al Othman Agricultural Production and Processing Company, Nada, to purchase a dairy herd at an indicative value of SAR 370 million, excluding VAT. The memorandum was signed on 22 October.
Three related agreements
Negotiations cover purchasing the herd, using Nada’s farm and facilities during a transition period, and a long-term agreement for NADEC to supply raw milk to Nada. Completion remains subject to due diligence, definitive agreements and necessary approvals; the memorandum does not mean the acquisition is complete.
Deposit and financial impact
NADEC is to pay a refundable SAR 74 million deposit, equal to 20% of the indicative value. It will be deducted at completion or refunded in full if the transaction does not proceed. Apart from the deposit, signing the memorandum has no current financial impact.
What should investors watch?
The 25 October announcement sets up the next questions on execution terms, financing and raw milk supply economics. A completed agreement could expand production, but assessing returns requires the final terms and operating costs. The indicative transaction value should not be treated as forecast revenue or profit.
