Shareholders of Saudi Vitrified Clay Pipe (2360) approved reducing capital from SAR 150 million to about SAR 45.43 million, a reduction of 69.71%, at the extraordinary general meeting on 22 October 2026. The meeting results were announced on 25 October.
How the reduction works
The restructuring cancels 10,457,125 shares, reducing the total from 15 million to 4,542,875 shares. Approximately 0.697 share is cancelled for each existing share. The reduction is intended to offset SAR 104.57 million in accumulated losses.
What it means for shareholders
Cancelling shares against accumulated losses restructures capital; it does not itself improve sales or inject cash. Price comparisons before and after the action must account for the changed share count and adjusted price basis.
What should investors watch?
The 25 October announcement concerns shareholder approval. Implementation, depository and trading notices, and subsequent operating performance remain the next points to assess. The company’s reduction documents state that the action does not affect financial obligations or operations; an operating recovery therefore remains a separate test.
