Scientific & Medical Equipment House has moved its Armed Forces hospital catering project in western Saudi Arabia to the signed-contract stage. The contract is valued at SAR 127.66 million, including VAT, according to the announcement published on October 18, 2026.
Contract term and expected financial impact
The three-year contract covers Armed Forces hospitals in Madinah, Tabuk and Jeddah. The company expects its financial impact to begin in the second quarter of 2027.
From August award to October signing
Equipment House signed the contract and received its copy on October 15, following its August announcement of the project award. This is progress on the same project; its value should not be counted twice when totaling announced contracts.
Why execution matters
Our reading is that the award establishes contracted business, while actual profitability will depend on delivery costs, execution margins and collections. Contract value is neither total profit nor a single quarter’s revenue. Investors can monitor the operating start date and subsequent financial results.
